Important Roles of a Business Analyst in an Organization

A business analyst is someone who studies an organization or industry domain and records of its business, systems, or processes, evaluating the organizational structure or its integration with technologies. Typical business analyst helps in guiding organizations in analyzing business processes, products, services, or applications through data analysis. This means that the person needs to possess good statistical and computer programming knowledge, as well as business knowledge, to be effective in performing the required analysis work.

As part of his job, the business analyst should collect and evaluate information from the stakeholders involved, as well as formulating solutions for them. Data analysts are responsible for interpreting the business intelligence and reporting on this data. In addition, they make recommendations about how to improve the performance of organizations to their stakeholders.
